Your House, My Approach

Private Villa · Marbella

New Build · Three-Storey Private Villa · Benhavís

Project Context

Project type: New construction of a 3 storey private villa
Location: Marbella, Spain
Phase of intervention: Before architectural design was finalised
Client profile: International couple with 2 children, high financial and emotional investment in the property.

The clients contacted me when the architectural design was already defined and construction was close to completion.
At this stage, the margin for structural changes was limited, but key strategic adjustments were still possible.

The Client’s Concern

Despite the quality of the architecture, the clients expressed a strong sense of uncertainty:

“Everything looks beautiful, but we don’t feel confident committing to the house as it is.
We are worried that, once we move in, something won’t feel right — and at that point, it would be too late.”

They were not looking to redesign the villa.
They wanted reassurance and strategic correction where possible, before the house became fully irreversible.

Strategic Intervention

  • I improved the master bedroom and children’s room layouts.
  • Optimised the living room seating to encourage connection
  • Optimized the home office to support focus and stability,
  • Assigned each child the most suitable bedroom based on their energetic profiles.
  • At the entrance, I rebalanced the flow of energy by introducing a carefully positioned water feature and architectural elements to retain and redistribute high-quality incoming energy throughout the home.

Even at a late stage, Feng Shui functioned as risk reduction and strategic realignment, not decoration.

Private home · Granada

Renovation · Private Family Home with Rental Unit · Spain

Project Context

Project type: Renovation of a private residential property
Location: Granada, Spain
Phase of intervention: Before layout definition and interior design
Client profile: Blended family planning a long-term primary residence and short-term rental use.

The clients contacted me at the very beginning of the renovation process, before any layout redesign or interior design decisions were made.

They were facing a complex spatial challenge: transforming an existing property into a home that could support both their professional activities and their evolving family structure.

The Client’s Concern

Their main concern was how to structure the house correctly from the start, given their very specific needs:

  • a professional massage studio for her, to receive clients

  • a workshop / mechanical space for him

  • two bedrooms for his children

  • one additional bedroom planned for possible future children

  • a small independent apartment for Airbnb, with privacy for both hosts and guests
  • which entrance should become the main one

“Before redesigning the layout, we want to be sure the house is organised in the right way — for daily life, work, and future growth.”

They were not looking for decoration.
They wanted a clear spatial strategy before committing to the renovation.

Strategic Intervention

My work included:

  • defining which entrance should function as the main access, and which should remain secondary

  • determining the optimal location for:

    • the kitchen

    • private bedrooms

    • the massage studio

    • the workshop

  • establishing a clear spatial hierarchy between:

    • family living areas

    • professional spaces

    • the short-term rental unit, ensuring independence and minimal interference

  • identifying the most supportive placement for a water feature, aligned with the overall spatial logic

Only once the layout strategy was clearly defined did the project move forward to interior design.

At that stage, I collaborated indirectly with the interior designer, providing guidelines on colours, materials, and forms to reinforce the intended atmosphere and coherence of each area.

Feng Shui functioned as the structural foundation of the project, shaping how the house would work before defining how it would look.

Private home · Trento

Existing Home · Family Residence · Trentino, Italy

Project Context

Project type: Existing family home, fully furnished
Location: Trentino, Italy
Phase of intervention: Post-occupancy, no structural renovation
Client profile: Family with two young children, long-term primary residence

The clients contacted me after they had already been living in the house for some time.
The property was fully furnished and no architectural changes were planned.

Their request was not related to design or aesthetics, but to a growing sense of discomfort affecting daily life.

The Client’s Concern

The family was experiencing a combination of persistent issues that were difficult to explain through practical causes alone:

  • poor quality sleep

  • frequent discussions between adults

  • children showing signs of irritability and restlessness

  • an ongoing legal dispute that felt prolonged and draining

They described a general atmosphere of tension and fatigue, especially within the bedrooms and shared family spaces.

“We feel constantly tired and on edge, and the children seem unsettled.
We want to understand if the house is contributing to this.”

They were not looking to change furniture or renovate.
They wanted to understand how the existing environment might be influencing their wellbeing.

Strategic Intervention

The intervention followed a clear, structured process, working with the existing house and furnishings rather than introducing disruptive changes.

The work included:

  • Decluttering as a first and essential step, reducing excess objects and visual overload to create the conditions for effective Feng Shui correction

  • Identifying areas with challenging energetic patterns that had the potential to increase tension, restlessness, and conflict and rebalancing them through the Five Elements, using colours, shapes, and materials rather than structural intervention

  • Adjusting the living room layout to support clearer communication and reduce friction

  • Repositioning beds to support rest and recovery, with particular attention to the children’s rooms

  • Implementing a targeted corrective measure addressing prolonged legal friction

All adjustments were implemented without structural changes, delivering immediate improvement through precise spatial decisions.

Discretion and confidentiality are central to my practice.
For this reason, projects are presented without identifying details or full visual documentation.

This portfolio does not showcase finished interiors.
It focuses on strategic interventions carried out at decisive moments of renovation and construction projects — when choices still shape long-term outcomes.
