My Feng Shui consultations complement, rather than replace, the work of interior designers.
I provide an added layer of value, ensuring that the design not only reflects the desired aesthetic but also fosters long-term well-being and harmony – a true investment in your space and your life.
In Feng Shui we seek to minimize the exposure of negative energy. When we know where this energy is, we can design your house in a way that avoids negative energy in the areas where you spend the most time, like the bedrooms, the kitchen and living room.
Feng Shui also aims to maximize the positive energy, or “chi” (Qi), in our environments. This can be done by using certain techniques, like designing the front door in the right orientation and placing windows, fountains, pools and trees where they can activate beneficial Qi.
The principles of Feng Shui are all about creating a sense of balance and harmony in our environments. This means finding the right proportions of Yin and Yang energy in order to give the inhabitants a sense of peace, vitality, creativity or intimacy, depending on the activity carried out in each room.
Another important aspect of Feng Shui is to create a sense of fluidity in our environments. This means designing spaces that are neither too narrow nor too open; space that have a natural flow.
Feng Shui also emphasizes the importance of connecting with nature. The external environment affects the energy that enters the house, so to correct any unbalance we can insert elements of nature in our living spaces, such as plants or stones. What’s more, to feel in line with our circadian rhythm, Feng Shui helps us arrange spaces according to the movements of the sun to make the most of natural light.
